‘Thank Folk it’s Friday’

Folk fans are in for a treat at “Thank Folk it’s Friday” with Blanche Rowen and Mike Gulston at Coaltrains Coffee Shop and Gallery, Barry Train Station. Taking place on Friday, March 6 from 11am, expect ‘an eclectic musical feast’ blending English and Welsh folk, contemporary songs, and even French café waltzes, all in harmony. Previous reviews have said: “The combination of Blanche’s delicate yet assured vocal timbre with Mike’s tender, tremulous tenor makes for some distinctively attractive harmonies and their voices make for a powerful duetting force.” Entry is free, though donations support keeping the music alive.
