The four defendants were accused of speeding, using a phone at the wheel, and keeping a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements.
Their cases were heard in the magistrates’ courts in Cardiff and York.

JAMIE NEWMAN, 52, of Conybeare Road in Sully, was fined £877 after admitting speeding in a 20mph speed limit.
At Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on February 16, Newman was also ordered to pay £120 in costs and a £351 surcharge, and was handed six penalty points.
ADAM PALFREY, 54, of Hayes Road in Sully, was caught using a mobile phone at the wheel.
Palfrey pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a £362 fine, £120 in costs, and a £145 surcharge. On February 19 at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court, Palfrey had six points added to his licence.
AMY BROOKS, 46, of Archer Road in Penarth, was fined £231 for speeding in a 30mph limit.
Brooks pleaded guilty, and at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on February 19 was ordered to pay £120 in costs and a £92 surcharge. She also had three points added to her licence.
ARJAN SINGH OSLA, 19, of Victoria Square in Penarth, pleaded guilty to keeping a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements.
Osla was sentenced to pay a £147 fine, £100 in costs and a £59 surcharge at York Magistrates’ Court on February 18.
