A replacement bus service is in operation between Bridgend and Barry as the issue continues
Emergency services are attending an incident between Bridgend and Cardiff which has resulted in severe train disruption. Transport for Wales services between Bridgend and Cardiff Central, via Barry are affected.
National Rail said the line had been closed between Bridgend and Barry. In the meantime, buses are replacing trains between these stations.

Replacement bus services will be operated by Watts coaches and are expected to run at the following times:
- Departing Barry at 9 minutes past the hour
- Departing Bridgend at 40 minutes past the hour

National Rail said passengers could find the pick-up and set-down location of rail replacement services by checking station signage or by searching for their station on its Find a Station page.
