Penarth weather forecast: What to expect over the weekend

by martyn jones

The rest of this week is expected to be relatively stable. On Thursday, residents can anticipate a bright day following an initial chill and potential morning mist or fog.

Once these early weather conditions clear, the day will be mostly sunny with light winds and a maximum temperature of 16C.

Conditions for the rest of the week and into the weekend will remain dry with sunny spells, albeit a little cooler.

Nights will be chilly, especially in areas with clear skies.

For Friday, the narrative remains the same.

Residents can expect a dry day with developing sunshine after the dissipation of morning low clouds or fog, and the temperature is expected to peak at 15C.

Saturday will follow a similar pattern, with the weather trends of Friday extending into the weekend.

Sunday brings a murky start with dense fog areas, but the rest of the day will be sunny before becoming breezy and cloudy by day’s end with a high of 13C.

By Monday, the brief spell of sunshine will retreat, replaced by an overcast sky.

There is a minor possibility of early morning rain, but this should clear quickly; the rest of the day is expected to remain cloudy. A maximum temperature of 11C is expected.
