Easter Bank Holiday weather: Penarth will see sun and rain

Thursday will start fine and dry with sunshine, but rain is expected to arrive by late evening. It will cloud over by sunset, with more light rain edging in from the west. Temperatures will reach a maximum of 12°C. 

Friday will turn unsettled, bringing cloudy and windy conditions with spells of rain. However, it is expected to become drier in the afternoon with sunshine late into the evening. Temperatures remain the same, peaking at 13°C.

On Saturday, Penarth is set to experience thick cloud and drizzle, with increasing winds. There is a possibility of some sunny breaks in the afternoon, but the weather will turn wetter overnight. A slightly warmer maximum temperature of 15°C can be anticipated.

Sunday will begin with a mix of sunny spells and the chance of an occasional shower during the morning until lunchtime. Generally, the area will see drier and brighter conditions throughout the day, despite strong and gusty winds. The temperature will drop slightly, reaching 11°C at its peak.

Monday is set to be another cloudy day, though some sunny spells may break through. The day will feel warmer, with a maximum temperature of 14°C.
