The four defendants were accused of driving without insurance, speeding, keeping an untaxed vehicle, and keeping a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements.

DAVID LOFTHOUSE, 23, of Gibson Way, Penarth, was caught driving without insurance.
He was fined £660 and ordered to pay £120 in court costs, along with a victim surcharge of £264. He also received six penalty points.
BRYAN ROODHOUSE, of Caerleon Road, Dinas Powys, was handed a £220 fine for keeping an untaxed vehicle.
He was also ordered to pay back duty of £57.50 and £85 in costs.
STEPHEN ARMSTRONG, 50, of Plymouth Road, Penarth, was caught speeding in a 40mph limit.
He pleaded guilty to the offence, and was hit with a £162 fine and three points on his licence.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £120, as well as a surcharge of £65.
JESSICA OWEN, 27, of St Luke’s Avenue, Penarth, admitted keeping a motor vehicle that did not meet insurance requirements.
She was fined £40 with £100 costs and a £16 victim surcharge.
