Alex Davies-Jones, the former victims minister, announced her resignation on Tuesday (May 12) afternoon, following Jess Phillips and Miatta Fahnbulleh.
In her letter to Sir Keir, Ms Davies-Jones said: “I implore you to act in the country’s interest and set out a timetable for your departure.”
She described the party’s recent election results across the UK as “catastrophic” and called for “bold, radical action.”

Sir Keir Starmer to remain Prime Minister despite growing pressure to resign
The Prime Minister is facing intense pressure from within the Labour Party and a growing number of public calls from MPs and cabinet ministers to step down.
Sir Keir has pledged to remain as leader, telling his Cabinet on Tuesday that he intends to continue.
At least 82 out of Labour’s 403 MPs have now demanded Sir Keir’s departure.
This number meets the threshold needed to trigger a formal leadership contest, though it requires all 82 to support the same alternative candidate, which has not yet occurred.
Ms Davies-Jones said serving as victims minister had been “the honour of my life” and that she had helped deliver “monumental changes.”
