Hour-long delays after person hit by train – live updates

Logging on after an incident at Flint railway station. A person has been hit by train.

This is due to impact services on the North Wales mainline for the rest of the afternoon.

A Transport for Wales spokesperson said: “Due to a person being hit by a train at Flint, services may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or cancelled between Chester and Llandudno Junction. Disruption to services is expected until 16:30.”
