A man has died in a single vehicle crash on the M4 in Newport on Monday.
Police and paramedics were called at around midday to a crash on the M4 eastbound at Junction 27 for High Cross. Sadly, the 75-year-old man driving the vehicle died at the scene.
A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the M4 at junction 27 at around 11.50am on Monday, June 22.
“Officers attended alongside paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service.
“The driver, a 75-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”
