Pride Extravaganza at Soraya’s Bar
Celebrate Pride Month’s close with a bang as hosts Fanny and Camille bring the community together for “unforgettable night of comedy, karaoke, live vocals, dancing, and pride celebrations” at Soraya’s Bar. It’s free entry for over-18s only, and guests are asked to “bring your friends, your best Pride spirit, and your dancing shoes” because they’ll be partying the night away. The fun kicks off June 27 at 7pm.

Summer Fun in the Sun
Barry Athletic Cricket Club is the place for a family day out at ‘Summer Fun in the Sun’. Adults pay £5, with all proceeds donated to Blood Bikes Wales. Enjoy drinks from the Clubhouse bar, a bouncy castle, children’s entertainer, football coaching and a match, and family rounders. Blood Bikes Wales will bring one of their motorbikes along for everyone to see. Bring a chair or blanket for a relaxing afternoon, on June 28 at 12pm.
‘Thank Folk it’s Friday’ – The Crumble Brothers Live
Folk fans can enjoy the Crumble Brothers, an acappella duo known for blending traditional tunes with sea songs and some quirkiness, live at Coaltrain’s Coffee Shop. They venue says that this duo “take their songs seriously but not themselves, and love to have fun with their audience.” Free entry though donations to the musicians involved is essential to keeping their live events going. Swing by June 26 at 11am.

Friday Theme Night: Wild Meadow
Get creative at Peggy’s Pots at Goodsheds for a Wild Meadow theme night of pottery painting. Choose from various stencils and enjoy food or drinks from the extensive food court. Pottery pieces are paid for on the day and ready for collection in approximately 3 weeks. The event takes place June 26 at 6pm.
