Cadstock 2026
Head to Victoria Park, Cadoxton, for Cadstock 2026, Barry’s legendary free festival that’s been bringing the community together since 2010. Get ready for ‘another legendary summer party with all your mates, friends and family’ as Cadstock delivers two days of incredible live music and festivities. This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever, taking place on July 11 and July 12 from 12pm to 7pm.
15yr Zin Celebrations with Nate Offer
Don’t miss a unique Zumba celebration at Rhoose Community Centre, where Nate Offer will take the stage for the first time in South Wales. Expect a ’30-minute Zumba and Lift session’ followed by a lively 1.5-hour Zumba Masterclass with special guest ZIN presenters and plenty of ‘high-energy community vibes and a celebration to remember’. Plus, check out the latest Zumba Wear from guest vendors. The doors open at 3pm for shopping, with events starting promptly at 3.30pm on July 11.
Folding Rock Summer Party
Celebrate the launch of Folding Rock magazine’s fifth food-focused issue in style at Tramshed Tech, Hood Road. Enjoy readings from local authors such as Sabine Wilson-Patrick and Avery Rabbitt plus talks, drinks, and a great atmosphere. The bar and book stalls take card payment only. Join the festivities from 6.30pm on July 10.
Community litter pick
Pitch in for a good cause at the St Athan Community Council Litter Pick. Meet at the Old School Hall, Church Lane, and help keep our community clean and beautiful! ‘Everyone is welcome – families, friends, and neighbours.’ Gloves and litter pickers are supplied – just bring your enthusiasm. The clean-up kicks off at 10am on July 11.
