A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following a crash on the main route along the west coast of Wales. Here’s everything you need to know:
Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating after a motorcycle crash on the A487 at Blaenplwyf, near Aberystywth on Saturday morning (July 11). Emergency services were called to the single vehicle collision at around 7am.
The crash involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle. The 30-year-old rider sustained serious and potentially life-threatening injuries, police said.
The man was airlifted to hospital where he remains. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or may have relevant dashcam footage that could help the investigation, to get in touch.
