A 30-year-old is said to be in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries
A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following a crash on the main route along the west coast of Wales. Here’s everything you need to know:
- Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating after a motorcycle crash on the A487 at Blaenplwyf, near Aberystywth on Saturday morning (July 11). Emergency services were called to the single vehicle collision at around 7am.
- The crash involved a blue Suzuki motorcycle. The 30-year-old rider sustained serious and potentially life-threatening injuries, police said.
- The man was airlifted to hospital where he remains. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
- Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or may have relevant dashcam footage that could help the investigation, to get in touch.
