MHA Morel Court, in Penarth, raised £2,177 at the event, which featured stalls, refreshments, and activities.
The funds will go towards the home’s amenities fund and will help cover the cost of a planned day trip to Barry Island on July 15.
Mandy Jenkins, administration manager at MHA Morel Court, said: “The summer fair was very successful, and we are very proud of the support shown to us by the community.
“We had plenty of family members of our residents who came and supported us along with staff and volunteers.
“It was a great event, the weather was lovely which is always a bonus, and everyone had a great time.
“To raise the amount we did in just over five hours is very special and we can’t thank everyone enough.”
Book, sweets, and clothing stalls proved popular, with around 90 visitors attending throughout the day.
MHA Morel Court provides residential care for 36 residents.
Ms Jenkins said: “We received some amazing feedback from visitors who appreciated the hard work that had gone into making the fair a success.”
