• The crash involved a car and a pedestrian and police say they suspect the driver failed to stop.

• A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Officers were called to Cwmdu Road at 11.31am yesterday (July 15) to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian and a fail to stop. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. A man was taken to hospital with injuries.”
