Music fans can expect a star-studded line-up of tribute acts at GlastonBARRY this weekend, with dozens of artists taking to the stage to entertain crowds in the sunshine.
GlastonBARRY takes to Romilly Park this weekend, from July 25 to 26, with the Juniors event taking place on July 24.
What began as a “silly idea” between friends to host tribute gigs in a theatre has grown into a major event, welcoming 18,000 attendees over one weekend.
GlastonBARRY now features two main stages – the Dragon Stage at the top of the field and a big top stage – as well as a VIP area, licensed bar, food court, DJs, stalls, and other activities.

Who can attend?
GlastonBARRY is a strictly over 18s event. Families and children can attend the Juniors event on July 24.
What is GlastonBARRY Juniors?
Taking place on Friday, July 24, GlastonBARRY Juniors is the family-friendly version of the festival, giving youngsters their first taste of festival life.
Doors open at 11am and the site will be filled with stalls, rides, games, workshops and entertainers to keep little ones busy between acts.
Tickets for this event are sold individually or as a family pass that gives four tickets to the event (it admits either two adults and two children, or one adult and three children).
Anyone under 18 will be admitted as a child but everyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
There are no restrictions on pushchairs at this event, but it takes place on grass and weather is not accounted for, so it could become difficult to manoeuvre on grass.

How do I get there and where can I park?
There is limited parking around Romilly Park and four pay and display car parks nearby – two at the Knap and two larger car parks on Barry Island.
Disabled parking is available on site, though this must be arranged by contacting GlastonBARRY beforehand to reserve a spot.
Cardiff Bus line 96 runs from Cardiff city centre to Romilly Park, Barry.
Barry train station is less than one mile from Romilly Park.
Can I camp?
There is no camping on site but there are several campsites, guesthouses and hotels nearby across Barry and the Vale.
What can I eat?
No food or drink is allowed inside the festival but there is a range of traders selling everything from pizza to mac and cheese to pulled pork inside.
Should I bring cash or card?
GlastonBARRY operates a cash-free bar, instead asking customers to purchase tokens to be able to buy drinks.
They are non-refundable but enable festivalgoers to purchase lager, cider, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
The token booth will have card machines but due to issues with 4G connection in the past, customers are encouraged to bring cash with them to avoid queues and technical errors that may arise.
The festival is cash only but there will be some card machines on site as a backup option. The nearest cashpoints are on High Street and Park Crescent, both around a 10-minute walk from the festival.
