Domenico Telles, 63, of Beryl Road, was cleared of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Ali Mohammed Ahmed.
The defendant had been charged relating to an incident at his home address on April 23, 2024.
Mr Telles had denied any wrongdoing and was acquitted by jurors following a trial at Cardiff Crown Court heard in front of Recorder Angharad Price.
