Garden structures
A resident of 43 Castle Avenue has submitted a planning application for two garden structures.
The proposal includes a smaller summer house at the end of the garden, shaped to fit the boundary, and a lean-to storage shed adjoining a planned side extension.
The summer house, intended for toy and bike storage as well as exercise equipment, will reuse materials from a previously dismantled structure.
The lean-to will be used for storing garden tools and furniture.
Both structures will be built primarily from insulated timber frames clad in grey composite, using salvaged materials where possible.
The summer house will be partially visible above the existing boundary wall, while the shed will be screened from view by a new fence and garden gate.
