Andrew Dutch-John, aged 34, of Sir Ivor Place, Dinas Powys appeared before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court charged with two offences.
Prosecutors allege that between February 28, 2025, and December 12, 2025, the defendant made indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children.
The first charge alleges he made four category C indecent images of a child.
The second charge alleges he made one category B indecent image of a child.
No pleas were entered.
The case was sent to the crown court where he is due to appear on September 28.
Dutch-John was granted conditional bail.
