A woman found dead off the Welsh coast has been named. Lolita Visa, who was 32, was found dead off the Great Orme near Llandudno on August 22.
A GoFundMe launched by a family member describes Ms Visa as “bubbly and a joy to be around”. On the fundraising page, which has raised more than £7,000, she said: “Her loss has left all of us heartbroken, and we are faced with the difficult task of arranging her funeral.
“We are asking to help raise funds to be able to give her the send off she deserves, and help to cover any expenses that come with covering getting her to Latvia, as that where she is from and we want her to be at home.
“We were never prepared, or expected, for this to take place, and we are not in a financial place to be able to cover everything by ourselves.
“If you knew Lolita, we hope you remember her for the person that she was and keep her memories close to you. She was bubbly and a joy to be around, she had stories for days to share about her travels and where she has been.

An inquest was opened into Ms Visa’s death on Monday. John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, said Ms Visa, of Town Hall Street in Halifax, West Yorkshire, had visited her father in Manchester last month reports North Wales Live.
She left and later sent him a photograph from Liverpool Docks and later one from Marine Drive in Llandudno on August 22. West Yorkshire Police contacted North Wales Police about a missing person on August 25.
On August 26 a member of the public who was on Marine Drive in Llandudno called HM Coastguard to say he had seen a body in the water.
North Wales Police and Conwy inshore lifeboat crew went to the scene. Mr Gittins said: “The deceased was brought aboard the lifeboat and transported to (Conwy) lifeboat station.”
A pathologist conducted a post mortem examination and found injuries “consistent with time submerged in water”, said the coroner. There was no evidence of any significant injuries.
The inquest was adjourned to a future date.
