South Wales Police say that a 24-year-old man from Barry was arrested after officers received reports of an attempted robbery at the ReGenerate store on Holton Road at 3pm yesterday (September 11).
Officers say that nothing was stolen and no-one was injured.
The suspect remains in police custody and in investigation is ongoing.
South Wales Police said: “A 24-year-old man from Barry has been arrested following an incident at the ReGenerate store in Holton Road earlier today (Friday, November 11).
“Police were called to a report of an attempt robbery at around 3pm.
“Nothing was stolen and no-one was injured.
“The suspect remains in custody and an investigation is ongoing.”
