Rob Brydon has revealed the true reason he wouldn’t be able to do Celebrity Traitors, saying he wouldn’t be able to cope with missing one simple thing in the Scottish castle. Speaking to The Times, the Welsh icon touched on parenthood, life after Gavin and Stacey, and turning 60.
Life for the Welsh actor certainly hasn’t slowed down since the Gavin & Stacey finale aired almost two years ago. Instead, he’s hosted Would I Lie to You?, presented The Floor, and fronted Destination X, as well as Rob Brydon’s Honky Tonk Road Trip.
He’s also turned 60 which he said has shifted something in him. One area has been in his work, which he said: “New things became appealing. I’ve said yes to more, but I’ve also been offered more. It’s been a curious time.”
However, one venture which doesn’t sound so appealing to Rob would be travelling up to a remote Scottish castle and playing mind games with fellow celebrities, under the watchful eye of Claudia Winkleman. Find out why here.
