A Welsh couple say their honeymoon was “soured” after they were allegedly left in a “nightmare” hotel following flight delays.
Patrick Rees, 33, and his new wife Emily, 28, from Tonyrefail, had been enjoying a week-long honeymoon in Zakynthos, Greece, when their journey home descended into chaos.
The couple had been due to fly back to Cardiff at around 9pm on September 8 but widespread disruption caused by a technical failure in the flight-processing system managed by National Air Traffic Services (Nats) left them stranded at the airport.
Patrick said the holiday itself had been “really nice” and they had no complaints until the final day. Read more about what the couple said happened here.
