Drivers are facing delays of around 15 minutes on the A470 southbound between the A4054 Cardiff Road at Glyntaff Interchange and the A4054 at Taffs Well Interchange.
Traffic is continuing to slow, with delays increasing and average speeds still at around 10mph.
