Its Way To Go! chocolate bars, which launched in 2020 and cost £2.69 each, are no longer available to buy at the supermarket.
However, Lidl has reassured customers that it still believes in “ethical and sustainable sourcing across our cocoa supply chains”.
Lidl told The Sun that although customers can’t shop the 6-year-old range in its stores, it remains available to buy elsewhere.
A supermarket spokesperson told the newspaper: “We regularly review and update our product ranges to ensure we are giving our customers the best selection of affordable, high quality products.”
“100% of our own-brand block chocolate continues to be Fairtrade Certified and we remain fully committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing across our cocoa supply chains.”
Newsquest has approached Lidl for comment.

2 items sold at Home Bargains recalled by Lambertz
It comes as two food items sold at Home Bargains are being recalled by Lambertz due to a labelling error.
Lambertz Mini Spekulatius and Lambertz Christmas Tree Cookies are being recalled because they contain several allergens which are not declared on the label in English.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: “These products contain barley and wheat (gluten), hazelnuts (nuts), milk, lactose and whey (milk) and lecithin (soya), and they may contain egg, lupin, other nuts, peanuts, and sesame, making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley or wheat containing gluten, or with coeliac disease, an allergy or intolerance to egg, milk or milk constituents, an allergy to lupin, peanuts, nuts, sesame and/or soya.”
