A man has died in an incident near Chirk Aqueduct in North Wales, police have confirmed. Emergency services were called to an incident on Thursday (October 8) morning, following concerns about the welfare of a man.
A Wales Air Ambulance touched down nearby, with police officers and paramedics also called to the scene, reports North Wales Live.

A spokesperson said: “We received a report at 11.26 am yesterday, Thursday 8th October, concerning the safety of an individual in the Chirk area.
“Officers attended the scene, where a man sadly died.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and his family, and the Coroner has been informed.”
