The Penarth town centre event, organised by Penarth Lawn Tennis Club, will take place on November 6, and promises a full commercial fireworks show, giant bonfire, street food, and music.
Mark Wordley, organiser of the firework display, said: “We’ve brought in some incredible fireworks.
“It’s going to be a full commercial display.
“We will be premiering some exciting new ‘ball rocket’ designs too, and we have built a new rocket facility for launching to enhance the display further.”
The event will raise funds for the tennis club and its nominated charities, Wales Air Ambulance and the MS Society UK.
A range of food vendors will be on site, including Meating Point with Greek cuisine, Cegin Halfnhalf with Indian dishes, and the Welsh Italian Pizza Company.
Life of Riley will serve coffee, while Puds Puds will offer desserts.
Organiser Al Cozens said: “We’re expecting more than 1,200 people to turn up on the night for a great celebration of the community in Penarth.”
There will be no tickets available on the gate as the event regularly sells out in advance.
