VW Meet-Up

Vale VW Transporters’ April Meet-Up is your chance to see vans and views at the Cliff Tops. Hosted by Wilmore’s Café, it’s the perfect spot for families and dog owners looking for a friendly group and a ‘proper’ hot drink. The location is in walking distance of Penarth Pier and the waterfront, for those who want to take in the seafront a little closer. Simply turn up on April 12 from 9am.

London Bridge Talk

Steve Gallant will explore themes of resilience, trauma, identity, and recovery whilst he tells the tale of how he stopped an attack on London Bridge in 2019. The event at Penarth Yacht Club will offer unique perspectives on prison life, the spread of extremist networks, and their implications for public safety. Tickets cost £28, with all proceeds going to local veterans charity Woody’s Lodge. The event takes place on April 11 at 7pm.
