Gwent Police are working alongside other emergency personnel at the scene of a crash on Aberthaw Road in Alway, Newport.
A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services are dealing with a road traffic collision on Aberthaw Road.
“The road is currently closed, and diversions are in place which may cause congestion.“The only access route into the Alway estate is via Penkin Hill.“Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.”
