All traffic being held at bridge after vehicle overturns – live updates

Traffic is being held on the M48 Severn Bridge for recovery work after a vehicle overturned earlier this eveing around 5pm.

Traffic management site, Inrix has said: “M48 Severn Bridge westbound blocked, stationary traffic due to overturned vehicle from junction 1 A403 (Aust) to junction 2 A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Chepstow).

“Cameras and sensors confirm that traffic is on hold now again for recovery work.”
