Please find attached the minutes of last months executive meeting.
The Older People’s Commissioner for Wales’ work programme for 2025-26 includes (on page 6) a commitment to capture evidence about older people’s experiences of social care to ensure their needs are understood and to inform future service developments and planning in both the short and longer-term. A survey of older people’s experience of social care is now live on the OPCW website at: https://olderpeople.wales/socialcare/ . I should be grateful if you would distribute this information widely through your existing channels and networks.
The Commissioner has appointed York Consulting in partnership with Professor Paul Willis, Director of CARE, based at Cardiff University, to undertake an analysis of survey responses and produce a report based on survey findings.
The specific focus of this project is to examine older people’s experiences of social care in relation to the eight quality standards set out in the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 Code of Practice, in relation to the performance and improvement of social services in Wales: People, Prevention, Partnerships and Integration, and Well-Being.
The survey is due to close on 30 January 2026. The Commissioner expects to receive the findings of the analysis by the end of March 2026. The Commissioner will then consider next steps, including publication of a report.

Nodyn atgoffa ein bod ar hyn o bryd yn cynnal ein hail ymarfer arolwg Gadewch i ni Siarad Am Fywyd yn y Fro, sy’n dilyn ymlaen o’r arolwg a gynhaliwyd gennym yn 2023 lle rhannodd 4,000 ohonoch eich profiadau o fywyd yn y Fro. Fe wnaeth eich barn helpu i lunio ein Cynllun Corfforaetholdiweddaraf, y Fro 2030, yn ogystal â dylanwadu ar benderfyniadau a pholisïau eraill y cyngor.
Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi’ch adborth yn fawr ac rydym yn gofyn yn garedig os nad yw unrhyw un a gwblhaodd arolwg 2023 wedi cwblhau arolwg gadewch i ni siarad 2025 eto i gymryd deg munud i rannu eich barn gyda ni.
Bydd pawb sy’n cymryd rhan hefyd yn cael cyfle i ennill un o ddeg taleb Love2Shop gwerth £50, y gellir eu gwario mewn amrywiaeth eang o siopau a bwytai ar y stryd fawr.

We are updating our Active Travel Network Map (ATNM), and we want to hear from you and your members.
The updated map will include:
- existing routes – These are routes that meet Welsh government standards for walking, wheeling and cycling (or all three)

The consultation will run until 5 January 2026 and further details are on our webpage.
To complete the survey online visit the VOG ATNM consultation website.
Mae’r cyngor yn diweddaru ei Fap Rhwydwaith Teithio Llesol, ac rydyn ni eisiau clywed wrthoch chi!
Bydd y map newydd yn cynnwys:
- llwybrau sydd yma nawr – Mae’r rhain yn llwybrau sy’n bodloni safonau Llywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer llwybrau troed, olwynion neu feiciau (neu bob un o’r tri)
- llwybrau’r dyfodol – Mae’r rhain yn llwybrau sydd ddim yn bodoli eto neu y mae angen eu gwella arnom er mwyn bodloni’r safonau gofynnol
Efallai eich bod chi’n cerdded neu’n teithio ar olwynion neu feic, neu’n poeni am opsiynau teithio gwell ym Mro Morgannwg. Beth bynnag yw’r rheswm, rydyn ni eisiau clywed eich syniadau chi am y ffordd y gallwn ni wella’r rhwydwaith.
Bydd yr ymgynghoriad yn rhedeg tan 5 Ionawr 2026.
I gwblhau’r arolwg ar-lein ewch i wefan ymgynghoriad ATNM Bro Morganwg.
