South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called at approximately 12.42am following reports of a fire at Central Park on Wyndham Street in Barry.
Crews from Barry attended the scene and the fire, which is believed to have been refuse, was extinguished at 1.03am.
A spokesperson for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “SWFRS responded to a call at approximately 00:42 on 25 August to reports of a fire on Wyndham Street, Barry.
“Crews from Barry attended the scene and extinguished a refuse fire.
“STOP message was received around 01:03”.
