Barry man assaulted Tenby police officer and damaged vehicle

Liam Chichester, 29, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court charged with two offences in Pembrokeshire on November 22 last year.

Chichester was alleged to have assaulted a police officer in Tenby on that date. He was then accused of causing damage valued at £140 to a Dyfed-Powys Police vehicle in Haverfordwest.

The defendant, of Gateholm Close in Barry, pleaded guilty to assaulting a constable in the execution of their duties and criminal damage.

He will next appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on June 25.

Chichester was granted bail, with the condition that he is not allowed to return to Pembrokeshire.
