Eddie Martin, aged 25, of Wynd Street, Barry was prosecuted for using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance.
At Cardiff Magistrates’ Court, he was fined £660 and ordered to pay a £264 victim surcharge and £120 costs.
His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
