Neil Webb, 48, of Monmouth Way in Barry, was charged with five charges of shoplifting across January and February this year.
Webb was accused of stealing two Remington F7 Shavers – valued at a total of £259.98 – from Boots in Barry on January 4.
He was also charged with stealing food worth £15.15 and £36.60 during two separate raids at Co-op in Barry on February 17.
Just days later – on February 22 – Webb returned to Co-op and stole bottles of wine and sandwiches valued at £19.60 in total.
The next day, he swiped £7.80 in sandwiches and drinks from the same shop.

Webb pleaded guilty to all five offences at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on February 27.
He was jailed for 10 weeks.
