Lean-to conservatory
Approval has been granted for a new conservatory at 3 Ffordd Y Dociau in Barry.
The property is a semi-detached house and will see a lean-to structure added to its rear.
The home currently benefits from off-road parking at the back.
All works must begin within five years of the approval date and adhere to the approved plans.
Biodiversity enhancement measures detailed in the Green Infrastructure Statement must be fully implemented before the development is first occupied or used.
Any planting included in the scheme must be maintained for at least five years following completion.
If any trees or plants die, are removed, or become seriously damaged, they must be replaced in the next planting season with specimens of similar size and species.
Clinic expansion
Plans have been approved to convert the ground floor leisure space at 3 Ringwood Crescent in St Athan, Barry, into a clinic.
The development will also extend the existing first-floor clinic space.
The new clinic will include a reception area, consultation rooms and clinical facilities.
It will remain within the area shown on the approved floor plans and must only be used as a health clinic as defined under Class D1.
The clinic will be limited to a maximum of eight staff members and only one customer at a time.
It must be operated and managed solely by residents of 3 Ringwood Close.
Opening hours will be restricted to 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and the clinic will remain closed at weekends.
