Produced in the Vale of Glamorgan by Bro Radio, the programme offers listeners across Wales an accessible and informative guide to the political landscape.
Nathan Spackman, chairman of the Wales Community Radio Network (WCRN), said: “We know that not every station is in a position to be able to create their own election programmes, but each understands the important role Community Radio plays in helping local people engage with the democratic process.
“I’m pleased that the main parties have engaged positively with this programme and with our election manifesto.
“We hope to be able to continue to engage with parties post-election, to secure stronger support and financial investment into Community Radio right across Wales.”
He also presented the programme.
Available in both 60‑minute and 90‑minute formats, the show features leaders or senior representatives from the six main political parties in Wales, each outlining their priorities and plans for the next Senedd term.
It also guides listeners on how to access information about their local candidates and explains the new voting system being used in this election.
The programme has been distributed to all WCRN member stations, as well as hospital radio and SSDAB services.
