The popular display team have announced their 2026 schedule, which includes 23 displays and flybys in the UK.

The Royal Air Force aerobatic team will begin its schedule this weekend in Greece, before its first display in the UK on May 29.

There are scheduled Red Arrows displays across the UK in 2026, including at the Midlands Air Festival, Isle of Man TT Races, and Lyme Regis RNLI Lifeboat Week.

The aerobatic team will also perform flypasts at major UK events, including the King’s official birthday celebration in London (June 13) and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (July 15).

The Red Arrows will also be performing at various events in the US this year to mark 250 years of American independence.

The Red Arrows usually perform at the Wales Airshow, which is held in Swansea each July.

It has been the Royal Air Force aerobatic team’s only display in Wales in recent years, following the cancellation of the Rhyl Airshow in 2024 and 2025.

But there will be no displays in Wales at all in 2026, according to the recently released Red Arrows display schedule.

The Wales Airshow will take place on July 25 and 26 this year, the same time the Red Arrows are over in the US.

They will perform their final two US displays on those dates at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in Wisconsin.

The Red Arrows will then return to the UK, with their next scheduled display at Eastbourne International Airshow on August 14.

The Wales Airshow usually attracts around 200,000 to 250,000 spectators across the weekend.

It remains unclear whether the Red Arrows’ absence will impact crowd numbers in 2026.

Swanea Council, the organisers of the event, have been contacted for comment.

For those hoping to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows, the aerobatic team will be performing at a range of other events in the UK and around the world in 2026:

While there is no scheduled display in South Wales in 2026, residents may still be able to see the Red Arrows flying over their local area on their way to other events.

The Red Arrows’ website explains: “During the display season, the Red Arrows often carry out two shows and several flypasts in one day – using various locations across the UK and overseas as operating bases.

“When the season is underway, you can often find times of arrival and departure from airfields, as well as information on show times and flypasts by visiting our official social media channels – on Facebook, X and Instagram.”

These times and details are subject to change, the Red Arrows added.
