A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a crash in Powys.
- Dyfed-Powys Police were called to the scene of single-vehicle collision on the A489 in Powys on Sunday, May 17. The crash happened on the stretch between Newtown and Kerry at around 1.10pm.
- A 38-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following the crash. She was taken to hospital to receive medical attention.
- The force said investigations into the crash are ongoing.
- A police statement reads: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision on the A489 between Newtown and Kerry at around 1.10pm on Sunday, May 17. One woman, aged 38, has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and was taken to hospital to receive further medical attention. Investigations are ongoing. The road was closed to clear debris.”
