{"id":124634,"date":"2025-09-18T10:16:06","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T10:16:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vale50plus.org\/clone\/?p=124634"},"modified":"2026-02-23T20:32:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T20:32:06","slug":"carecoach-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vale50plus.org\/clone\/carecoach-study\/","title":{"rendered":"CareCoach Study"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"elementToProof\">Health &amp; care Research Wales (HCRW) have shared with us a study that is asking for all Welsh Health boards to share the flyer\/advert with colleague Leads\/Specialists within Dementia and Neurodegeneration services.<\/div>\n<p>The study are\u00a0<b>not<\/b>\u00a0looking for additional sites,- therefore no need for set up, etc-as with the \u2018FIND ME\u2019 study, but have requested help to support recruitment by sharing comms materials in Wales (the study flyer and newsletter\/social media ad, attached above).<\/p>\n<p>The study is looking to test the clinical and cost-effectiveness of an online support package (CareCoach) for family carers of people living with dementia.<\/p>\n<p>The main inclusion criteria are adults currently providing informal\/unpaid care or support for a person living with dementia (whose diagnosis is within the last 5 years).<\/p>\n<p>HCRW asked if we could share the attached comms materials with our ABUHB Leads\/Specialist colleagues, to share anywhere you think may be relevant (e.g: your wards\/clinics\/online\/anywhere else).<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve accessed the QR code to take a look at their information &amp; noted their social media posts &amp; have myself already shared with my own family &amp; friends.
