The Council\u2019s Cabinet has now approved its draft budget proposals for 2026\/27 for consultation.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This year, the Council will receive just over\u00a0<strong>\u00a3240 million<\/strong>\u00a0from the Welsh Government, this makes up around two thirds of the Council&#8217;s overall budget which is forecast to be\u00a0<strong>\u00a3354million<\/strong>\u00a0in 2026\/27.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The cost of delivering council services increases every year.
