A section of the A470 is shut in both directions after a crash on Good Friday afternoon, April 3.<\/p>\n

The incident happened on a stretch of the carriageway between Linabus and Nant-ddu in Powys.<\/p>\n

Emergency services are at the scene and motorists have been asked to avoid the area. A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “A470 Storey Arms – Tyrhos. The road is currently closed due to a collision<\/p>\n

“Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey. Thank you.<\/p>\n

According to traffic monitoring service Inrix: \u201cA470 in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to accident from the A4215 (Libanus) to the A4059 (Nant-ddu).\u201d<\/p>\n
