Climate hysteria is pure evil, masquerading as concern for the environment. This alarmism sees public officials create outrageous guidelines and restrictions for the common person \u2014 all supposedly to save the planet \u2014 while they live lavishly. [some emphasis, links added]<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just another instance of \u201crules for thee, but not for me.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The latest culprit is Denmark\u2019s far-left green party<\/a>, The Alternative. At a [Copenhagen city council meeting] on April 30, one of its officials, Birgitte Kehler Holst, said that the elderly in nursing homes should have their meat intake restricted to \u201cpunish\u201d them.<\/p>\n

Holst was commenting on the topic of excluding nursing homes from new guidelines that government-run sites will only allow 2.8 ounces of beef, lamb, or veal per person, per week.<\/p>\n

The New York Post<\/a> reported that\u2019s less than the quantity of meat for one McDonald\u2019s Big Mac.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone, including the elderly, must contribute to achieving our climate goals<\/a>,\u201d<\/strong> Holst said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is precisely the generation that has screwed up the most.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Danish People\u2019s Party\u2019s Malte Larsen absolutely excoriated Holst in a post on the social media platform X.<\/p>\n

\u201cI find it so grotesque that it\u2019s hard to put into words.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat the hell do these self-righteous climate fanatics<\/a> actually think they\u2019re doing? Our elderly have toiled and labored their whole lives. Built a fantastic society for all of us. And now they\u2019re being punished with draconian beef rations in the holy name of the climate.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s undignified. Embarrassing. And totally unacceptable,\u201d<\/strong> he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the worst part of it all?<\/p>\n

\u201cMany of these climate fanatics who implement this kind of draconian climate measure<\/a> have no problem flying back and forth to attend irrelevant climate conferences<\/a>. The hypocrisy is simply dripping down the walls among these climate-saved activists. It\u2019s time we put an end to this fanatical climate policy that makes life miserable<\/a> for ordinary people, including our elderly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Larsen, and likely many other Danes, understand how callous, if not evil, Holst is for her remarks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is she personally doing to stop this crisis, aside from abusing old people?<\/p>\n

Organizations like the World Economic Forum<\/a> discourage meat consumption by ordinary folk in favor of consuming bugs<\/a> \u2014 something their elite members won\u2019t be eating anytime soon<\/a>.<\/p>\n
