Crash causing major congestion on M4 near Newport – live updates

There is congestion on the M4 on Monday morning after a collision on a slip road near Newport.

The incident happened early on Monday at junction 26 of the eastbound carriageway.

There is congestion in the area as the slip road is partially blocked.

According to traffic monitoring service Inrix: “M4 Eastbound exit slip road partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at J26 A4051 (Malpas Road). Congestion to before J27 (Highcross).”
