Glyn Webb, 69, of St Donats Close, Dinas Powys appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court where he was sentenced after pleading guilty to an offence committed on August 29, 2025.
Webb was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for 18 months.
It was suspended because of Webb’s previously clean character, “remorse and realistic prospect of rehabilitation”.
The defendant was ordered to attend a 26-day accredited programme and complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs as well as a £154 victim surcharge.
A sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) was imposed and will remain in effect until June 2031.
Webb is also required to register with police as a sex offender for seven years.
The SHPO includes strict conditions around internet use.
