Eight artists and makers will open their studios and homes to the public, displaying original work across a variety of media including landscape, still life, abstract and contemporary pieces.
Sara Bentley, a painter and organiser of the event, said: “I started this event to give local artists an opportunity to share and sell their work directly to the public.
“We open our studios and homes to welcome visitors, and it is important to be there during the weeekend to talk about our methods and inspirations.”
Featured artists include jeweller Dom Tsoi, who works with precious metals, and Solace in Wood, who creates unique pieces of naturally seasoned wood.
Studios will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
The event has become a staple in the Dinas Powys cultural calendar, growing in popularity each year.
A leaflet containing a map, artist locations and further details has been distributed throughout the area to help visitors navigate the trail.
This year’s event is also supported for the first time by the Vale Arts Collective.
Displays will cover a range of media, with highlights including Vase by Sara Bentley, Untitled by Solace in Wood, Dancing boys of Dieppe by Isobel Davies, and Light by Suzie Larke.
