Barclays customers can collect 5% cashback on fuel transactions made with an eligible personal Barclays debit card at Tesco petrol stations from 1 May to 31 July, capped at £10 per calendar month
With rising costs of petrol and diesel across the UK, customers will be excited to learn a way of getting money off next time they fill up. The British bank Barclays and supermarket giant Tesco have launched a joint cashback initiative as Britons face the highest diesel prices since the Ukraine war began in February 2022.
The cashback offer will enable Barclays customers to earn 5% cashback on fuel purchases between £5 and £200 made with an eligible personal Barclays debit card at Tesco petrol stations from May 1 through to July 31.

The initiative comes amid soaring fuel prices partly fuelled by the continuing unrest in the Middle East.
America and Israel have carried out joint military strikes targeting several strategic Iranian sites since February 28.
Tehran retaliated by launching attacks at locations across the Middle East and closing the crucial Strait of Hormuz shipping route, which accounts for 20% of global oil trade.
Washington and Tehran have agreed a temporary ceasefire, though the strait remains closed.
America has also imposed a blockade around Iranian ports in the strait, seeking to weaken Iran’s economy, compel the reopening of the waterway and facilitate long-term peace negotiations.
Motorists across the country saw no change in fuel costs over the weekend, and figures from motoring organisation the RAC revealed the national average for unleaded petrol stood at 157.17p per litre on Monday, with diesel sitting at 189.23p. Both figures remained virtually unchanged from Friday.
Data published by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero on 28 April indicated the average price per litre of ultra low sulphur unleaded petrol across the UK was 156.99p, while ultra low sulphur diesel averaged 189.81p per litre.

Unleaded Petrol (pence per litre): 154.2
Diesel (pence per litre): 186.5
