An E-bike rider has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car in Newport.

Officers from Gwent Police were called to the scene after reports of a crash involving a Sur-Ron electric bike.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “We received a report of a road traffic collision on the junction of Chepstow Road and Victoria Avenue at around 6.15pm on Sunday, July 5.
“The collision involved a Sur-Ron and a car.
“The rider of the Sur-Ron was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
