Police are investigating the incident
Eight motorcyclists have allegedly assaulted a driver in a lay-by beside a busy main road. The incident allegedly happened on the A48 westbound at Llanddarog junction in Carmarthenshire, just before the Nantycaws turn-off, at around 2.30pm on Saturday, March 7, a police spokesperson said.
The male driver of the car reportedly suffered injuries in the incident and his vehicle was damaged, the force said on Monday. The eight bikers are believed to have been driving Harley Davidson bikes.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses or anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on Saturday afternoon to come forward.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Local officers are investigating an alleged assault that occurred on the A48 westbound at Llanddarog junction, before Nantycaws turn-off, at around 2.30pm on Saturday, March 7.
“The incident was reported to involve eight men with parked Harley Davidson bikes in a lay-by, assaulting a man with a car. The victim sustained moderate injuries and damage to their vehicle.
