Emergency services called to car fire on M4

A section of the M4 closed due to a vehicle fire on Saturday afternoon. The busy route on junction 48 westbound from Hendy to Pont Abraham was closed by officers as they attended the scene.

Dyfed-Powys Police asked drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey. The route has now reopened.

There was a traffic build up as the South Wales Fire Service dealth with a car that had burst into flames on the motorway.
