Singing and social group
Singing and Social Groups for Older Adults are held at St. Augustine’s Parish Hall and offer an ‘informal and inclusive’ setting for older adults to come together.
Sessions run from 10am to 12pm and cost £5, with carers attending for free and the first session free of charge. Booking is essential due to limited spaces.
The next session is on August 26, 10am.
ACAB
ACAB, one of South Wales’ best known covers bands, will bring their ‘huge repertoire of songs from the 60’s to modern day’ to The Cef (Cefn Mably) in Penarth.
Expect rock covers from 8.30pm on Friday, August 21.
Que Pasa
Que Pasa, a group of friends from the Vale of Glamorgan, are back at The Cef (Cefn Mably) to play their ‘eclectic mix of fun music from the 70’s to the more recent’. The band last played at the venue in June and promise another enjoyable night on Saturday, August 22, 8.30pm.
Pinocchio
Illyria presents Pinocchio at The Kymin Gardens, an outdoor theatre event.
Audiences are invited to bring picnics and low-backed chairs or blankets for a ‘fantastic afternoon of fun, laughter, and a well-known classic’.
Please note there is no shelter if wet and no car parking at the venue.
The show will take place on August 28, and last for 1hr 35min.
